last blog entry.

A) KNOWLEDGE GAINED
Regarding this, let me tell you that before this course I was totally worried because I did not know too much about technology. Now, I feel different because during the classes I learned many and different things related to this, and it has been something really meaningful for as well. I am feeling great since I have had the opportunity to be learning about internet tools. I remember that at the very beginning of the course, we were working with blog entries, and the blogger was a tool I did not know how to use, but thanks the teacher and some classmates, nowadays I can make an appropriated use of it. Also, I won’t forget how to use the different programs such as Voicethread, Voxopop, Quandary, HotPotatoes etc, because each of them has provided a meaningful learning for me. Moreover, something that I won’t forget were the uses of different tools we presented in class because each of them has an especial use, and they can be selected according to what we need and want to present to students.

B) WHAT ATTITUDE MUST BE NEEDED TO WORK WITH ONLINE TOOLS
In my point of view, I consider that the best attitude to work with online tools is to avoid saying “I cannot” because many times we use that word when we feel frustrated about doing something. I consider that everything in life has a difficulty, and it is the same with online tools, some of them are difficult, and they are even more difficult if we do not try to use them, so our main goal has to be to avoid saying “I cannot” in order to get excellent results regarding this.

C) HOW THESE TOOLS CAN BE IMPLEMENTED IN OTHER SUBJECTS
Well, I consider that a teacher can make use of these tools in all the subjects. The only point he or she has to take into consideration is to use the appropriated tool, and the most adequate to present a topic. I think that the use of these tools can start from high school levels because in those levels students are more familiar with technology. First, a teacher of science can teach students how to use Voicethread in order to present a video of a science project or teach how to use voxopop for them to record their voices and talk about a topic they want. Second, in a mathematic class, the teacher can teach students how to make use of HotPotatoes’ tool for them to solve problems related to the subject. Third, he can use helloslide.com if he or wants students to describe themselves by a presentation or slidely.com if he wants them to present something making use of pictures.

D) WHAT ARE SOME THINGS THAT SHOULD BE ADDED OR LEFT OUT IN A FUTURE COURSE
I think that everything that the teacher taught us was meaningful and interesting for all of us, so I won’t leave out any details from this course. Maybe, the teacher can include a variety of websites that contains authentic materials; it means websites with design -for-EFL materials in order to use them in a class on the web. Also, reliable links about grammar sections and vocabulary.

E) SUGGESTIONS TO IMPROVE THE COURSE

-Pay special attention to all students while they are working.
-Monitor all students and try to focus in those who have more difficulties using technology.

-If you are teaching about the use of a new internet tool, write how to use it on the board or provided printed material.
